"Oh, How Beautiful Panama," thought Tiger and Bear, two good friends, and set off in search of the land of their dreams. They weren't quite sure where this Panama was, so along the way, they experienced numerous adventures and encounters with various animals. In the end, without realizing they were going in circles, they returned home and realized that their old home was indeed the land of their dreams.

Sometimes, it's only when we look at things from a different perspective that we can see their beauty. Janosch says that everyone has always lived in paradise; they just don't recognize it.

Janosch's picture book "Oh, How Beautiful Panama" was first published in 1978 and received the award for the best children's book of the year in Germany the following year. Janosch is everywhere there, in every child's drawer. Born on March 11, 1931, in Poland, he is an illustrator and writer known as the most famous children's author in the German-speaking world. His books have been translated into many languages, and he has received numerous awards for children's literature. With his warmth and love, he leaves a mark on childhood from the earliest age.
